Jacob's New Trick

Mmmm. Those toes must be tasty. I actually took this picture from the other direction but it looked weird so I flipped it around.

Another favorite picture from today.

He looks particularly self-satisfied in that picture. Jacob turned five months old this week. His favorite things are eating anything he can grab (especially paper), spitting with gusto, grabbing things, playing with his rattle toys and accidentally hitting himself in the head with them, doing sit ups while trying to sit up, mom and dad, and any other individual, friend or stranger, who will give him the time of day.

Mom and dad's favorite thing - he's sleeping through the night now! We finally broke down and did sleep training this weekend and we were amazed with the results. It know it's not for everyone but it was for this kid. We are all much happier around here and it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be.

Such cute pictures!! I agree with the sleep training. Logan has always been pretty good at sleeping, but we have had to let him cry. Trent can sleep through it, and it does make me sad, but he has learned to self-soothe somewhat! We need to get our boys together soon!! And the parents!! :)

Those are such cute pictures!! He has the most darling smile. I am SO happy for you that he is sleeping through the night. That can make ALL the difference.

P.S. We had to let all 5 kids cry to get them to sleep through the night at 6 months----and none of them were damaged or remember a thing!
