True Friends

Jacob knows how to roll with cousin B. They get together during the week, look cute, and drool.

We have had a great time recently. The weather is warmer, the sun is sunnier, and that means we are starting to head outdoors with Jacob. Yesterday we visited the park, where Jacob enjoyed swinging and also sliding down the slide with Erin. He is kind of quiet when we are outside, but we realized he is looking at all of the exciting, new things.

We took off to Phoenix a couple of weeks ago to visit one of Thomas' relatives. The weather was wonderful, and Debbie was a gracious host. One of Debbie's dogs, Tessa, LOVED Jacob. She would follow the person that was holding Jacob around the whole house, and when we went into our bedroom, she would wait outside the door and scratch at it. On a couple of occasions we had Jacob on the ground to change his diaper, and Tessa would sneak up and lick his hand or face. Jacob liked Tessa too, and was fascinated to watch her.


I had to sneak this one in. It's great that my wife will do outdoor things with me, like snowshoeing. Erin is cool like that. She wants to be where the action is, and she looks good doing it.
